The latest #OFFSIDE podcast is out and we've got a very special guest on this time!
Hosts Rhonda Taylor, Dave Briglio & commentator Kris Lipscombe were fortunate enough to speak with #TeamCanada's very own Brianne Jenner, who talks about getting creative during #COVID19, including turning her annual summer hockey academy into a virtual event and giving away spots to players in financial need through the The Grindstone Award Foundation.
She's hosting her second web-based #BrianneJennerHockeyAcademy session from July 20-24, which includes skill development for players ages 6-10, as well as performance training for players ages 11-15. She's also planning a pre-season prep and conditioning #VirtualHockeyAcademy for older players, Aug. 10-14.
"It's been a great learning curve and a great opportunity to adapt," Jenner said of running hockey camps through a global #pandemic. "Without geographic limits, I have people from all across the country signed up; we have international campers... (so) it's exciting to bring different #hockeycommunities together."
